Harrison Ford Slams Trump: “He’s Making Money While the World Goes to Hell in a Handbasket

Actor Harrison Ford, best known for his legendary roles in Indiana Jones and Star Wars, made headlines after delivering a fiery message aimed directly at former President Donald Trump. Known for his blunt honesty, Ford didn’t hold back when discussing Trump’s approach to leadership and the environment.

In a recent interview, the 82-year-old actor spoke about his frustration with how global crises are being handled, pointing specifically to Trump’s record on environmental policies. “He doesn’t have policies, he has whims,” Ford said. “It scares the hell out of me — the ignorance, the arrogance, the lies, the destruction. He’s making money while the world goes to hell in a handbasket.”

Ford, a longtime environmental advocate, said he’s deeply worried about how political decisions are worsening the planet’s state. “You can’t deny science, you can’t dismiss responsibility,” he continued. “The planet doesn’t care about politics — it’s reacting to what we’re doing to it.”

His comments quickly went viral online, sparking both praise and backlash. Supporters applauded Ford’s courage to speak out, while critics accused him of going too far. But Ford appeared unmoved, saying that staying silent isn’t an option when the world’s future is at stake.

“People with power have a duty to lead with truth, not ego,” he said firmly. “If they won’t, then the rest of us have to remind them what real leadership looks like.”

Even after decades in Hollywood, Harrison Ford proves he’s not afraid to use his voice — especially when it comes to calling out what he believes is wrong with the world today.
